Mindest, Mindfulness, and Meditation
Depending on what social media platforms you follow me on, you might not know that I have hosted three conversations at our house with Roman and Leo’s friends. I wrote about how the series of talks came to be over in the Omens (my version of the blogs we grew up with), so I’ll save that explanation and get right to the first three talks.
While the audience for these is teenage athletes, the reality is the message applies to everyone. I’ve told them I’m pulling them in to help them with their athletic goals now, but really hoping to help them for when their playing days are over. Mindset, Mindfulness, and Meditation will serve them well in all aspects of life, as will Breathwork and Visualization, which will round out the series.
This series has already exceeded my expectations in terms of attendance and, most importantly, the boys' engagement. They are participating, taking notes, and even sharing with their parents!!
I hope you enjoy these, and please feel free to share these with the young athletes in your life—there is no catch or pitch coming from these conversations. I’m not trying to coach teenage athletes or create a new business. This is just one way I can give back by sharing what I’ve learned, experienced, and observed. I am optimistic that some of the attendees (and viewers/listeners) will use this information and change the path of their lives.
