one body

This morning, I caught an early flight out to Phoenix, where I’ll be spending the next few days kicking off the Integrated Wealth Advisor program created by my friend (and former AlignedLife podcast guest) Breanna Blaney–I’ll share more about the program later. While walking through the airport, I couldn’t help but notice the number of people struggling to make it to the gate or needing a wheelchair.

I didn’t observe with judgment.

Instead, I focused on the reminder to make sure I’m doing all I can to take care of my body so when I’m older, I can still travel with ease. I know nothing is guaranteed, and I can take perfect care of my body and still have a health issue in the future that impacts my ability to get around. Should I find my Self in a similar position later in life, I want to make sure I don’t look back and wish I had taken better care of my physical body.

For me, the focus is:

Weight lifting

Yoga

Cleaner eating

Walking

Meditation

Breathwork

If I continue doing these activities and improve consistency, intensity, and quality, I will know I did everything in my power to take care of the future version of my Self; the added bonus is that the current version will feel even better, too.

We only get one physical body, and as resilient as it is, it’s not always reparable.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
