The Highs And Lows Of Creating Something New
Creating something new is a lot of fun. Coming up with a fresh idea, taking it from a thought in your brain, seeing it written down in a notebook, speaking it out loud and sharing it with someone else, getting feedback that suggests people might actually like your new idea, and then putting it out in the world for people to actually purchase is an exciting process—I absolutely love it.
Creating something new is also frustrating, especially when the something new isn't a product but a service. And really, it's not even a service but a feeling or experience that is arrived at via the service. How do you get people to understand a feeling or experience they've never had before but would greatly benefit from if they signed up?
And therein lies the hurdle for what I've created in AlignedLife+.
I've created a relationship that leverages my strengths and unique gifts and talents, allowing me to work with clients in a way I don't know anyone else is doing.
I'm merging (1) financial planning and advice with (2) life planning (something most people don't know what it is) with (3) what people would call "coaching", but it's really ongoing support, brainstorming, sounding board, creative collaboration, advice, accountability, cheerleading, honest feedback, advice, and mentoring--not "coaching".
The physical outcome of this is a financial plan that is aligned with the authentic life that you've designed and that will continue to evolve as you and your life evolve; it's the ability to live the life you feel called to live.
The non-physical outcome is a feeling of contentment, fulfillment, purpose, impact, and joy.
Non-physical > Physical
But how do I "sell" the non-physical?
I'm working on it and look forward to the challenge—the first few will be the hardest.
So to those building new things that people can't imagine how it will change their lives, I see and feel you; if you believe in what you're creating, keep pursuing!
Keep pursuing,
JC
