speak it into existence

This week, I shared a post on social media that felt really good to post.

“For the first time in almost five years, I'm actively seeking new clients at Santiago(formerly known as RLS Wealth).

For most of the last five years, I wasn't looking to grow because I was content with my business and the presence it gave me with my family, and with the time it gave me to explore and experiment with how I am supposed to show up as a professional in the world.

In that time, I started a personal journey that not only led me to living my Authentic Life, but also to discovering that the idea of an Authentic Life and sharing it with the world is what I am supposed to be doing at this stage of my life--you might call it my purpose, or as my GeneKey suggests, my revolution to lead.

I also completed the Kinder Institute of Life Planning

Registered Life Planner designation, which gave me a framework to build upon to help clients connect with their Self and discover their Authentic Lives. This year, I started the Anya Institute for Human Revolution Integrated Wealth Advisor program to help me expand my framework to incorporate the alignment of spirit, mind, body, and money into my process--I had been writing about this alignment for years and have now included it in my process.

I've rebranded my firm and changed the working relationships I offer to align with the work I am looking to do with new clients, while keeping my legacy clients in the relationships we've always worked in.

I've built an ecosystem around The Authentic Life that continues to grow, with Santiago and the AlignedLife relationships integral to it.

Technology, h/t Altruist, has made me more efficient and given me more time for the important non-financial work with clients that I love and where I can bring the most value.

And finally, my boys have gotten older, and while I continue to be very present in their lives, they have lives of their own and are not home as much as they were when they were younger--giving me more time to dedicate to my work.

I still don't have a clear niche, but I do know of a few situations where I know I can help the most:

1.) professionals who have reached an understanding that more money and more "success" is not what they seek and aren't sure of how to find the purpose they desire.

2.) second and third generations of families with wealth to help them pursue self-actualization to find their own sense of purpose, separate from the family's wealth, and how to align this purpose with the resources they have been born into.

3.) innovative entrepreneurs who want to make sure they are building in alignment with their values and Authentic Lives.

The AlignedLife relationships, AlignedLife and AlignedLife+, are not for everyone, and that is by design, as I only have capacity for 5-6 AlignedLife+ and 10-15 AlignedLife clients.

Hit the comments to learn more about the relationships and reach out if my approach aligns with what you are seeking.”

An email to a client this morning sparked the post.

After confirming some details of the plan we were implementing, I told him that whenever he had time, I wanted to pick his brain because he is the type of innovative founder that I think I would work well with—I wanted to get his advice on how to get in front of more founders like him. While he is a legacy client of RLS Wealth, we’ve often had life-planning conversations and aligned his finances with his values before AlignedLife+ was even an idea.

As I described the idea of an innovative founder who wants to build with intention and in alignment with their values, I felt something within that let me know I had described a niche to pursue.

I knew the other two descriptions of people I believe I can help, and the excitement around this new client was so great, I had to let the world know—or at least the handful of people who might see it on social media. The real value of the post was not letting LinkedIn know that I was back to taking on new clients, although I do expect that to lead to conversations, but signaling to the Universe that I am, in fact, ready to not only start growing but am more clear on who I want to help.

Something shifted in me energetically when I hit send, and I know what it means—growth and the right clients are on their way.

Now, here’s an important part of speaking something into existence…

You have to believe it—”as within, so without.”

This is where so many people go wrong. They think by just saying something, declaring that they are ready for it, that they will begin to attract it. What they don’t know is that without belief, they are not energetically on the frequency of what they are declaring they want. And what they also don’t know is that your words, in addition to the belief in them, must be followed up with action.

So, by all means speak your Authentic Life into existence, but understand that without belief and action, you’ll find your Self exactly where you were when you declared what you wanted.

Keep pursuing,

JC
