my move underground has been approved
For the first time ever, on Sunday, I asked the Divine for a sign (aka a visit from a bald eagle) to confirm my decision to finally become the “underground artist” I’ve always wanted to be—if you’re not sure what I’m referring to, check out this Omen.
I prefer not to ask or even look for confirmation from the Divine and just allow it to happen if it is supposed to. But for some reason, after sharing my Omen on Saturday, I felt like a sign would give me the last little bit of confidence I was seeking, to know that I was listening to my heart correctly.
So I asked.
No visit from the Divine on Sunday—although I didn’t venture far from home or to the areas that I usually see bald eagles.
No visit from the Divine on Monday morning.
But, on Monday afternoon, on my way home from the office was visited by this guy
Not only did I see a bald eagle, but it also flew alongside me as I drove down 116th Street. I have never seen a bald eagle in this part of Fishers, which makes it a little more special than usual. As I drove, trying to avoid an accident while also enjoying my answered visit from the Divine, I decided I’d pull into the neighborhood it was flying over to get a better look and maybe even a video to show Silas.
I grabbed my phone, accessed the camera app, snapped a couple of pictures while driving, and then thought I hit record to capture some video of the bald eagle as it flew over my car—only to see that I never hit record and missed the direct flyover.
I was so excited that my request for confirmation of my decision was granted, and that it was a visit closer, longer, and not in a usual location, that I wasn’t bothered by not getting the video. Instead, I was thankful that I was able to get this picture thanks to my iPhone camera being set to Live mode, so I at least had visual evidence of the experience to document for the future.
It’s going to be a cool story in a couple of years when I see the payoff of going underground, and I can share the story of the Omen I wrote, the ask of the Divine, and the visit from the bald eagle—it’s all documented to hopefully show others what is possible.

I’m telling you, life becomes even more enjoyable when you are living in alignment with your Authentic Self.
