This afternoon, I had the opportunity to give another MNDFL talk to the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams at a local high school, and just like my talks this summer, the teens were fully engaged and taking a ton of notes.
The coach shared a screenshot of what the team had shared with each other and I couldn’t help but smile with what they had taken away, and many of them made connections on their own that I didn’t share.
I thought I’d share what they took away:
Mindset separates the good from the great
Fear is only in the past and future.
Don't hide from fear take it head on
Confidence kills fear and confidence comes from preparation
Your mental state affects your body more than you think
Mindset is doing
Mindfulness is being"You cannot achieve what you do not believe"
5 is to 1 as mental is to physical
I need to be a more aware of my mindset and what affects it
When you visualize you need to use all of your senses
Visualizing success will lead to success
Fear exists because of what you tell yourself and your mindset can reverse that
Choose what to do with emotion rather than being controlled by it
A mindset is what separates great from good
Your mind can be your greatest ally or your enemy
Meditation can help you calm and slow your mind down.
See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,
