phases of life

I dropped an Omen on Thursday that shared how I have entered a new phase of my life. I’ll save the details of how I came to realize this next phase for The Omen, which you can listen to here.

The short version is that for the last ten years (maybe longer), I’ve been in a phase of exploration and self-discovery. The purpose of this phase was to discover the “authentic life”, find the alignment of my spirit, mind, body, and money, and design a way to help more people find and live their authentic lives.

Now that I’ve discovered this, the need to explore, experiment, and discover is not as great as it once was. This doesn’t mean I’m done exploring – I’ll never stop exploring, as it’s a part of evolving in my authentic life. However, I don’t need to spend as much time and energy doing it. The redirection of this time and energy takes me into my next phase: obsession and discipline.

Our lives are full of phases that are usually only recognized in hindsight, but it doesn’t have to be that way. The more aligned and connected to your authentic life you are, the more likely you are to recognize the phase you are in, or in my case, ending. With the awareness of the phase you are in, you’ll be able to be more intentional about the time you spend there and maximize the purpose of the phase.

So, do you know what phase of life you are in?

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
