your greatest service

I spoke about this on a new episode of AlignedLife recorded just yesterday, and I can't wait to share it with you. I have this belief that if we all were able to live our Authentic Lives, the world would become a perfect place–heaven on earth.
I know that is not possible for several reasons, but that doesn’t mean we, on an individual level, can’t strive to do our part to move the world one person closer at a time.
If you think about what self-realization brings to the world, you can see why it’s the greatest service you can render to the world, as Maharshi said.
hrough self-actualization, you discover your unique gifts and talents and how to use them to serve others.
Through self-actualization, you operate from a higher level of consciousness, which elevates the world's consciousness.
Through self-actualization, you love more.
Through self-actualization, you experience joy, which becomes contagious.
Through self-actualization, you become an example of how to live a more fulfilling, joyful, and purposeful life, and you encourage others to find their own version of that life through their own self-actualization.
Ram Dass said the best thing we can do for each other is to be the best version of our Selves, which is not too different from what Maharshi said.
Many of us have goals of making the world a better place, and if you’re serious about doing so, start by becoming the best and most authentic version of your Self.
