being a good steward

“A steward of money is someone who responsibly manages financial resources as a caretaker for another's assets, making wise, ethical decisions aligned with personal values and goals, often with a spiritual component recognizing that wealth is a trust to be used for good, including saving, investing, giving, and avoiding waste, rather than self-indulgence.”

-Google AI response to “definition of steward of money.”

One way you can change your relationship with money is to change how you view your Self.

Instead of seeing your Self as a saver, a spender, an investor, a giver, or even a hoarder, think of your Self as a steward of money. That simple shift can help you view money through a different lens, allowing you to allocate your resources in alignment with your Authentic Life.

As a steward, you’re still a saver, spender, investor, giver, and even a hoarder, but you are those with intention and in harmony with your Authentic Life; saving, spending, investing, giving, and hoarding (maybe not so much hoarding) are done in ways that express your values and who you are.

Hold your Self accountable to be a steward as Google has defined it, and see how your relationship with money begins to change.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
