AlignedLife blog: my place to write more about money

Note: This originally was written on Substack, but I’ve decided, to simplify (and have more control over my work), my content, I’m going to bring AlignedLife to my website.

I can already hear some of my friends,

“A new blog?!? Another place for me to track for your content? Why can’t you keep it simple and all in one place?”

They aren’t wrong.

Between my Daily Notes (Kit emails, LinkedIn newsletter, and my personal site), my Weekly Note (Kit again), The Omens (Kit and my personal site), The AlignedLife podcast, and my YouTube channel, I am creating content in a number of places. But in my mind, it all works—each platform or type of content serves a purpose and therefore needs its own space. As long as it makes sense to me, I trust it will eventually make sense to the rest of the world.

I could have easily written AlignedLife on my personal site and used Kit to distribute it, but recently, I’ve noticed several Creators starting to write here on Substack, so I decided I’d see what all the excitement is about and test out the platform for a type of writing that is aligned with my other content.

I’ve been wanting to spend more time exploring the topics of money and wealth, but not in the traditional sense you’d expect from a 20+ year veteran financial advisor (How am I old enough to have that many years in?!?). Instead of writing about financial planning, investing, and the common topics, I want to explore how money can align with our spirit, mind, and body.

I want to look at money from the standpoint that it is merely energy.

I want to look at money from the standpoint that it is meant to circulate—to be in flow.

I want to look at money from the standpoint that it will take care of itself, especially when we live aligned with our authentic life.

I want to look at money from the standpoint of meta and quantum physics.

I want to help break down the stigma, fear, and anxiety that surround money.

For now, AlignedLife won’t have a regular publishing cadence like my Daily Notes, posts will be longer and more researched than the Daily Notes, and some may be purely me working through my ideas and trying to figure out precisely what I believe and how I want to communicate.

I’m excited to see where AlignedLife goes and to hopefully help you change your perspective and relationship with money and wealth as you pursue your authentic life.

Keep pursuing,
JC
